News briefs: Health forum planned, meetings planned, Butte shelter stats shared
Health forum scheduled for Wednesday
Intermountain Health St. James Hospital, Blacktail Health, and the Butte-Silver Bow Health Department will hold a B-SB Community Health Needs Assessment Forum to discuss health needs and assets in the area from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Montana Tech’s Copper Lounge, 1300 W. Park St.
The goal of the forum is to review the significant health needs identified and to invite community members to engage in conversation and provide input for the prioritization process. The public is invited to attend.
Panelists will include Shari Charron and April Ennis Keippel of Intermountain Health St. James Hospital; Tammy Cox of Blacktail Health; and Karen Maloughney and Taylor Pesanti of B-SB Health Department

Butte Garden Club to meet on Tech campus
The Butte Garden Club, which will meet at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, has changed its meeting venue from the Butte-Silver Bow Archives to Montana Technological University.
Speakers will include John Metesh and Rick Williams, along with Abbie Phillip and Shari Curtis.
Tourism meeting planned for Feb. 27
The Tourism Business Improvement District will host a meeting from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 27, at the Butte Chamber of Commerce, 1000 George St.
