Paper Flowers ‘Remembering Fleetwood Mac’ April 11 at Washoe Theatre

ANACONDA — Paper Flowers "Remembering Fleetwood Mac" will be performing at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, at Anaconda’s Washoe Theatre, 305 Main St.

The high-energy live rock band out of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho celebrates the legendary music of Fleetwood Mac. Ticket holders can experience the magic of the iconic hits from the “Rumours” era and more.

Band members include Allison McCready, Cary Beare, Brian Burke, and Kōsh.

According to the band’s website, the group, composed of four rock musicians, pays homage and puts their own spin on some of Fleetwood Mac’s most memorable hits, resulting in an often emotional and evocative experience.

Prior to the concert there will be food vendors outside the theater. Attendees are encouraged to dress up in 1970s attire.

The concert is a fundraiser for the Fred Moodry Intermediate School in Anaconda to raise money for its school activities, including field trips, celebrations and other extracurricular programs.

More than 500 tickets have already been sold, and the event has become a school-wide project. Advance tickets are $30 or $35 on the day of the concert.

According to a school spokesperson, a week prior to the concert, staff and students will participate in dress-up days and door decorating competitions.

“Our school is having a great time planning for the fundraiser,” said the spokesperson.
