Poplar Volunteer Fire Department battling overnight warehouse fire
UPDATE: Feb. 23, 2026
According to a media update from the Poplar Volunteer Fire Department (PVDF), many hazardous materials were stored on the east side of the A & S Industry Building.
Once the fire had breached that east side of the building, PVFD had to break from defensive attack and fall back to a safe zone and monitor the fire.
One firefighter was transported to Poplar Community Hospital for light smoke inhalation.

POPLAR, Mont. - The Poplar Volunteer Fire Department is on the scene of a fire at the A & S Industry Building that broke out at around 12:21 a.m. Monday.
According to a social media post from PVFD, the Bainville Volunteer Fire Department, Culbertson Volunteer Fire Department, Froid Volunteer Fire Department and Wolf Point Volunteer Fire Department also responded to assist.
