Prescribed burn on Grizzly Gulch Road near Helena

Prescribed burn outside of Helena

HELENA, Mont. - The U.S. Forest Service is conducting a prescribed burn of around 330 acres off of Grizzly Gulch Road on Thursday, and may extend into Friday.

"The Mini-Horse prescribed burn will incorporate lands between Show-Me-the-Horse Trail and Mini Ridge Trail systems," The Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest wrote on social media. Trail users should choose alternative routes during burn operations on Thursday/Friday.

Drivers along Grizzly Gulch Road are asked to slow down for fire personnel. Visibility may be reduced.
