Rollover crash on I-90 near Livingston kills Bozeman driver
LIVINGSTON, Mont. – A driver was killed on Monday afternoon following a rollover crash that took place on Interstate 90 East in Park County.
According to the Montana Highway Patrol (MHP), the incident occurred around 1:20 p.m. A Subaru Forester was traveling east when it crossed over the fog line on the right side of the roadway, then overcorrected and veered off of the left side of the roadway. The car reportedly overcorrected again before it veered off of the right side of the roadway and began rolling.
MHP officials stated that the vehicle came to a stop on its roof. Once emergency responders arrived at the scene, the 46-year-old female driver, from Bozeman, was transported to the hospital. She later succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident. Drugs or alcohol are not suspected as factors leading to the crash at this time.
