Shamrock Hunt for young 'miners' planned for March 20 at World Museum of Mining
The World Museum of Mining will host a fun and festive Shamrock Hunt at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 20, at 155 Museum Way.
Designed for children 10 and under, these young “miners” will search the museum grounds for hidden shamrocks. Once they’ve collected them, they’ll trade them in for a lucky prize and one special golden shamrock will unlock a grand prize for an extra bit of St. Paddy’s magic.
Children are encouraged to stop by the St. Patrick’s-themed photo spot to capture the moment and share the magic before heading home.
Parents must remain on-site with their children. Also, attendees are asked to arrive on time to receive instructions and begin hunting at the sound of the whistle, dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes.
