Snobar
Every year Big Sky transforms part of the mountain to host Snobar, a 21+ EDM concert performed in a bar entirely made out of snow. The first night of the two-weekend event took place on Saturday, Jan. 19, where DJ’s including K7NG, PHO3NIX, Nate G and Downpour Musik remixed popular songs from artists such as Post Malone, Chance the Rapper, G-Eazy and Marshmello. While the music was great, it was the atmosphere that made Snobar a must-attend event. Between the lights, organ-rattling bass and snow falling down, it’s an experience you can’t get anywhere else.
If you missed Snobar last weekend, you’re in luck. On Saturday, Jan. 24 Big Sky will host the final night of Snobar. This weekend will feature DJ’s Jack Dehio, Twiggy Smallz, Mitch Brady and Dr. Fresch. If you like to ski, or just want to party all night in the elements, it’s worth the drive. Tickets can be purchased at the event for $15. Make sure to bring cash as they don’t accept cards.
