Swatting call targets Central Montana Medical Center

FERGUS COUNTY, Mont. – Central Montana Medical Center experienced a swatting call, with a nurse engaging a suspicious caller for about an hour.

According to the Fergus County Sheriff's Office, the caller claimed his family was being held hostage. Police later determined the Bozeman address provided was vacant.

Officials identified this incident as part of a broader swatting event affecting multiple medical facilities.

Authorities confirmed there are no safety concerns at Central Montana Medical Center.
