THAT'S A WRAP: PHOTOS OF FOOTBALL'S FALL BRAWL

On Saturday, Oct. 10, MSU’s football squad wrapped up a fall season full of practices with the Bobcat Fall Brawl, an inter-team scrimmage between squads drafted by assistant coaches. Defensive coordinator Kane Loane’s White squad edged the Blue team, which was coached by offensive coordinator Justin Udy. The final score was 14-7. 

Linebacker Tadan Gilman, whose outstanding play was key to the White team’s defense all afternoon, intercepted the day’s final pass in the end zone to clinch the victory. Danny Uluilakepa and Jeffrey Manning also picked off passes for the White team, while Michael Jobman’s interception led the Blue squad’s defensive effort.

The scrimmage acted as the culmination of formal practices for the Bobcat football team. The Cats are now in the midst of a two-month strength and speed training block in preparation for the spring season, which is slated to begin in February 2021.
