—Join the Butte-Silver Bow Public Library at noon on Thursday for an exhilarating journey through the history of America’s women astronauts with Valerie Neal’s “On a Mission: The History of U.S. Women Astronauts.” Registration is required. —The Butte Public Library will host a Library Trivia Night at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday in the Cavalier Lounge at the Finlen Hotel, 100 E. Broadway St. Entry fees are $5 per person, and refreshments are available for purchase. Prizes are awarded to the highest-scoring teams. —Singer-songwriter Maiah Wynne will be performing at 7 p.m. on Thursday at the Mother Lode Theatre, 316 W. Park St. Doors open at 6 p.m. Based in Gresham, Oregon, Wynne said her debut solo album “Out of the Dark,” which she also self-produced, is an eclectic mix of heartfelt singer-songwriter ballads, alternative rock, and uplifting cinematic folk-pop. —Historian and author Brenda Wahler will discuss her newest book, “Marcus Daly’s Montana Empires,” at the First Friday literary event at noon on Friday at the Butte Public Library, 226 W. Broadway St. The event is free and open to the public. For more details, call the library at 406-792-1080.

—The Bad Napoleon Show brings a chaotic, anything-goes night of comedy at 8 p.m. on Friday at the Covellite Theatre, 215 W. Broadway St. The show is packed with over-the-top physical bits, unpredictable moments, and a steady stream of offbeat humor. It moves fast and doesn’t hold back. Expect crude jokes, strong language, and a style that pushes past the usual theatre experience. For ticket information, go to the Covellite website.

—Southwest Montana Veterans’ Home at 65 Veterans Circle will hold their Easter egg hunt at 2 p.m. on Friday. Participants are asked to bring their own basket to the event, which starts at the Community Center. For more details, call 406-792-3100.

—A Community Easter Egg Hunt, hosted by Vigilante Rodeo & Saddle Club, is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday at 6354 Albany Ave. The event includes egg hunts for multiple age groups from infants to 12 years old. There will be hayrides and face painting, too. The cost is $5 a child or $15 for three or more children.

—Team 406 Disaster Relief will have its annual Easter egg hunt from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday at Koprivica Park on East Second Street. Lunch will be provided. The free event will include golden tickets, too.

—All ages are welcome to the annual Easter egg hunt at 2 p.m. on Saturday at The Springs at Butte, 300 Mount Highland Dr.

—Travel down the rabbit hole MOMIX-style with Moses Pendleton’s newest creation, "Alice” at 7 p.m. on Saturday at the Mother Lode Theatre. The show features a fusion of dancing, lighting, music, costumes and projected imagery. For ticket information go to the Mother Lode website.

—Head to the Covellite Theatre lounge at 7 p.m. on Saturday to watch the free 1998 move, “The Wedding Singer.”

—The Butte-Silver Bow Public Library will host its weekly “Cooking the Books” from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday at 226 W. Broadway St. The theme will be “chef secrets” with the featured item, beurre blanc. Come learn how to make this buttery French sauce.  No registration is needed, merely stop by the third floor of the library for this fun class. —The annual Empty Bowls will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Butte Civic Center, 1340 Harrison Ave. A variety of soups will be donated by local restaurants. Prices range from a $20 ticket, which will include small soup-sized bowl, mug or small vase. A $50 ticket will include a medium-sized bowl, vase, or mug/pitcher, and a $100 ticket is a family-sized bowl, large vase or platter. By purchasing a bowl, each person receives all the soup one can eat, bread, dessert and live music. There will also be a cash bar and a silent auction of items from local artists. Tickets are available at the Butte Food Bank, 1019 E. Second St., Butte Civic Center and Hungry Hill, 68 W. Park St.
