Trailer explosion prompts swift response from Butte-area fire departments

BUTTE, Mont. – An early morning explosion led to a rapid response from several local fire departments.

The Rocker Volunteer Fire Department, alongside Butte-Silver Bow Fire Department, Boulevard VFD Butte Mt and Big Butte VFD, arrived to find a trailer fully engulfed in flames.

The Rocker Volunteer Fire Department sent an engine and crew to assist on scene, while another crew stayed at the station for backup.

"We appreciate the quick response and coordination of everyone involved in the incident this morning," the Rocker Volunteer Fire Department said in a Facebook post.

They emphasized that emergencies can occur at any time, highlighting the importance of readiness and teamwork among local departments.
