Valerie Neal to discuss the 'History of U.S. Women Astronauts' at Butte library

Join the Butte-Silver Bow Public Library at noon on Thursday, April 2, for an exhilarating journey through the history of America’s women astronauts with “On a Mission: The History of U.S. Women Astronauts.”

Valerie Neal, emerita curator from the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum and an expert on human spaceflight, will discuss the culturally insightful history of the achievements of U.S. women astronauts, the challenges they've faced, and their distinctive stories as they carved out space in a male-dominated field.
