Flathead outage hits more than 600 members near Highway 2

KALISPELL, Mont. — Flathead Electric Cooperative said a large outage affected more than 600 members across its service territory.

In a Facebook post, the cooperative said nearly 400 of those outages were reported along the U.S. Highway 2 corridor between West Glacier and Essex. It said crews were being dispatched to restore service.

Flathead Electric Cooperative asked members to report outages if they were not already listed on its outage map. The cooperative said reports could be made through an online account, its mobile app or by calling 406-751-4449.
