Havre fifth graders challenge NonStop Local in reading competition

HAVRE, Mont. – The team at NonStop Local has taken on an exciting challenge with Sunnyside Elementary School's fifth graders in Havre.

The challenge, known as the Tower of Books, is a reading competition to see who can read more books in a two-week period. The fifth-grade class of Mrs. Gauer initiated the challenge, bringing some friendly competition to the newsroom.

Recently, the team received some playful trash talk from these enthusiastic 10 and 11-year-olds, adding a fun twist to the competition.

The reading challenge is well underway, and both sides are eager to see who will come out on top.
