Measles case confirmed in Blaine County

BLAINE COUNTY, Mont.- According to the Blaine County Health Department, Fort Belknap Tribal Health/ Public Health Nursing (FBTH/PHN) and Fort Belknap IHS (FB IHS), a case of the measles has been confirmed in Blaine County.

The individual was exposed while traveling out of state and is currently isolating at their home. This is the first case of measles in Montana to be reported in 2026.

Additionally, this reported case of measles will not be reported on the DPHHS measles website due to the fact that the individual is not a resident of Montana.
