Soda bread contest on tap at Sean O’Donnell’s this weekend

Sean O’Donnell’s will host its annual soda bread contest at 3 p.m. on Sunday at 125 N. Main St.

A team of judges will be on hand and prizes will be awarded.

Naturally, the bread must be homemade, but there are other rules to follow, including:

—No more than two entries per person.

—Register in person, arriving no later than 15 minutes prior to judging.

—Competitors must have at least one loaf for judges and enough for “people’s choice” testing.

—Judging is based on presentation, texture, flavor and originality.
